A notification containing the traffic results for March 2024 was submitted to the Public Disclosure Platform by Turkish Airlines. According to the published data, the airline's total passenger count for March 2024 increased by 0.5% to 6.14 million, up from 6.11 million in the same period in 2023. The number of passengers transferring from international to international flights increased by 3% from 2.5 million in March 2023 to 2.6 million in the same period in 2024.

The passenger load factor in March 2024 fell by 2.2 points to 79.8%, compared to the same period in 2023. The international load factor was 79.9%, while the domestic load factor was 78%. The total Available Seat Kilometers (ASK) rose by 9.7% from 18.2 billion in March 2023 to 20 billion in the same period in 2024. Cargo and mail carried in March 2024 surged by 35.3% to 178.5 thousand tons, up from 131.9 thousand tons in March 2023.

In the first quarter of 2024, covering the January-March periodTurkish Airlines carried 18.5 million passengers, marking an 8.4% increase from 17 million in the same period of 2023. The number of international-to-international transfer passengers rose by 10.3% from 6.9 million in January-March 2023 to 7.6 million in the same period in 2024. The passenger load factor for this period dropped by 0.9 points to 80.4%, compared to the same period in 2023, with an international passenger load factor of 80.2% and a domestic passenger load factor of 82.6%.
