The occupancy rate in facilities with operational and simple documentation in February 2024 was higher than the same month last year.
According to the data released by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the occupancy rate in February was 32.46%. The rate was at 30.94% in the same month last year.
The number of overnight stays for the same month was announced as 8,543,805. Of these, 3,700,506 were from foreign visitors and 4,843,299 were from domestic visitors.
The number of visitors to the facilities was 1,435,714 foreigners and 2,679,828 locals, totaling 4,115,542.
The duration of stay for visitors, compared to the same period last year, decreased slightly. Last February, the duration of stay was 2.19%, this year it dropped to 2.08%. The duration of stay for foreigners was 2.58 days, while for domestic visitors, it was 1.81 days.
