Max Kownatzki: SunExpress Increases Türkiye Flights

SunExpress CEO Max Kownatzki stated, "Türkiye continues to be one of the top destinations among travelers this year as well. The high demand we witnessed in 2023 is reflected in this year's booking numbers. Türkiye stands out as an ideal travel destination with its wide range of activities, diverse experiential opportunities, and value for money. As SunExpress, we have further expanded our direct flights to Türkiye."

Yıldıray Karaer: Seats will be 100% full

Corendon Airlines Chairman Yıldıray Karaer noted that demand from Germany is very high, stating, "This situation ensures that aircraft capacities are 100% full, increasing prices and profitability. Aircraft that were 80-85% full in previous years will reach 100% this year."

Karaer explained the delays in Boeing and Airbus aircraft deliveries, saying, "Hence, finding aircraft on the market is the biggest challenge. If aircraft could be found, even additional flights could be directed to Türkiye. Because the demand is strong."

Corendon plans to Allocate 3 million of 5 million seats to Türkiye

Corendon Airlines, which plans a total of 5 million round-trip seats to Türkiye this year, has allocated 3 million of its current capacity to German market. The company will fly to Türkiye from 20 German cities, including Berlin, Düsseldorf, Nuremberg, and Munich. After a long hiatus, Corendon will also position aircraft at Alanya Gazipaşa Airport and operate daily flights to Alanya, primarily from the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.

Yasir Karaçor: We aim to bring 780 German tourists to Türkiye

ANEX Germany's General Manager Yasir Karaçor stated that they aim to bring 780,000 German tourists to Türkiye this year. Karaçor said, "Demand for Türkiye in Germany is very high. Seats were full during the Easter period. At the moment there is a slight decrease, but this is normal. Especially between May 20 and June 20 is a transitional period. During this period, aircrafts will again operate at 100% capacity. If tensions between Iran and Israel do not escalate, the summer season will also be full."
