On the other hand, occupancies in first-class holiday villages increased, whereas those in second-class holiday villages declined.

In 2022, the occupancy rate of certified hotels in Antalya was 58.4%. The city's hotel occupancy rate was 56.3% in 2022.

The occupancy rates in Antalya's 5-star hotels rose to 60.4%, in 4-star hotels to 59.4%, while in 3-star hotels, it dropped to 51.8%.

Significant drop in İstanbul hotel occupancies

In 2023, the occupancy rate of hotels in Istanbul was 52.7%. In 2022, hotel occupancies in Istanbul were recorded at 61.3%.

In 2023, 5-star hotels in Istanbul dropped to 48%, 4-star hotels to 57%. 3-star hotels had an occupancy rate of 52%.

Muğla occupancies

Hotel occupancies in Muğla, which were recorded at 41.9% in 2022, stood at 41.8% in 2023.

During this period, the occupancy rates in the city's 5-star hotels increased to 45.2%, in 4-star hotels to 48.9%, and in 3-star hotels to 40.2%.

İzmir hotel occupancies also fell

In 2023, the occupancy rate in İzmir's hotels was 39.4%. The city's hotel occupancies were recorded at 42.8% in 2022.

In 2023, occupancies in İzmir were 46.5% in 5-star hotels, 44.7% in 4-star hotels, and 36.3% in 3-star hotels.
