According to the announcement published in the Official Gazette, a total of 57 brand-new hotel investments have been incentivized during the four-month period from September 1, 2023, to December 31, 2023. However, due to the Ministry withholding details in the incentive certificates, specifics such as the categories of the new hotels, their bed capacities, investment amounts, and the number of individuals they will employ were not disclosed.
According to the list, Istanbul leads with 10 hotels in terms of incentivized hotel investments, followed by Antalya with 7 hotels, Van with 6 hotels, and İzmir and Rize with 4 hotels each.
On the other hand, Türkiye has also issued investment incentive certificates for 58 hotel modernization projects, 23 of which are in Antalya.
