Türkiye, one of the fastest recovering destinations in the world after pandemic, was able to have a significant increase on tourism revenue.
According to six months figures between january and June, tourism revenue of Türkiye increased %27 and reached to $21,7 billion.
In the same period, overnight revenue per tourist increased by %11 and reached to 100 dollar.
Culture and Tourism Minister of Türkiye Mehmet Nuri Ersoy said that despite the all difficulties they are committed to their 2023 goals. He emphasized that July was better than June and in August there will be higher occupancies in the hotels.
Türkiye aims 60 million visitor and 50 billion tourism revenue in 2023.
