Despite the many difficulties including rising costs, high prices and foreigners who rent their homes for touristic purposes, number of visitor coming to Antalya has continued to increase.
According to the latest data announced by the Ministery of Tourism, the number of visitors arriving in the city by air between August 1st and August 22nd reached 1.88 million, and 10.060 million from 1th of january to 22th of August.
In the lively ongoing season, there has been a 20 percent visitor increase comparing to the same period of the previous year.
Same period of 2019 which is known 'record year in tourism' Antalya hosted some 10.05 million foreign visitor. This year's tourist number has already surpassed the same period of the record year.
