Toygar, who graduated from the Business Administration department of Anadolu University, has completed several international food and beverage workshop training programs. Recently, he successfully completed the Food and Beverage Management certificate program at Cornell University. Throughout his career, he has held positions at prominent tourism establishments in Türkiye and abroad.

His professional journey began with Hakkasan Istanbul, and later he served for one year at the restaurant opening of Emirates Palace Kempinski Abu Dhabi. Subsequently, he was part of the pre-opening teams of The Edition Hotel Istanbul, Raffles Istanbul, and Fairmont Quasar Istanbul. He also served as the Restaurant Director at Ritz-Carlton Doha. From 2019 to 2023, Toygar worked at St. Regis Istanbul, first as the Deputy Director of Food and Beverage and later as the Director of Food and Beverage. During the same period, he concurrently held the position of a member of the Marriott Hotels F&B Advisory Board.

Having previously been part of the opening team of Raffles Istanbul in 2014, Turgay Toygar has now rejoined the Raffles family as the Director of Food and Beverage.
