The workshop saw participation from over 125 agencies offering top-notch services across numerous countries, primarily including Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, and Georgia.

Leisure Business Travel President İlimdar Rıza commented, “Our client base predominantly prefers 5-star hotels that cater to the VIP segment. We mostly organize personalized tours in stanbul and tours connected to İstanbul.”

Rıza, mentioning the initiation of workshops before the pandemic, said, “In 2019, we organized an event called ‘The Istanbul Workshop’ in Uzbekistan-Tashkent, which was exclusively for hotels operating in İstanbul. We organized it again in Almaty in 2022 and 2023, and plan to do so in 2024 in both Almaty and Kazakhstan-Astana. The number of participating hotels increases every year. We started with 10 hotels, and now we have more than 20. Today’s event, The Royal Experience 2024, is different. We invited our best-selling agencies of 2023 to İstanbul and brought them together with our hoteliers. We plan to make this an annual event and expand it internationally.”

Rıza announced the creation of The Royal Experience Club platform, stating, “We have a significant gap in promotional activities related to İstanbul. The average stay is 2.5 nights, and we aim to extend this to a week. We have a VIP program called The Royal Experience Club, which is a platform bringing together clients, agencies, and hotels. This platform serves as a common space for guests preferring special services and those who provide these services. It’s a shared platform where everyone can find common ground. I hope it will be beneficial for all involved. I believe this organization marks a strong step into 2024.”
