Today marks the opening of ITB Berlin at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, set to take place from March 5th to 7th, 2024.

The management of ITB Berlin announced that the fair, sprawling over 150,000 square meters, has reached a record level of international participation, with 87% of exhibitors coming from abroad.

This year's fair boasts participation from over 5,500 professionals from 180 countries and regions, with Oman serving as the host country.

A significant number of tourism professionals from Türkiye have traveled to Germany to attend the fair, taking special flights offered by Southwind Airlines and Sun Express. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, TÜRSAB (Association of Turkish Travel Agencies), and various tourism unions will be representing Türkiye with their stands at the fair.

Since its inception in 1966, starting with just 9 companies from 5 countries, ITB Berlin has grown significantly. This year, under the theme "Leading the Transformation in Travel and Tourism Together," Oman will be highlighted as the guest country.

Throughout ITB 2024, 17 different sessions will explore how global tourism can contribute to sustainability, the protection of the climate, and social justice.
