Hüseyin Kurt, Chairman of I-MICE and Founder of GlobeMeets, has proposed that the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) should organize a "Promotion Project Competition" to stimulate collective intelligence in promoting Türkiye. Hüseyin Kurt emphasizes the importance of pooling ideas and experiences from various tourism sectors to enhance the nation's global reputation.

"Strengthens the connections between the industry and TGA”

The competition, according to Kurt, will not only foster innovative ideas but also strengthen the ties between the industry and the TGA. He believes that the initiative could transform TGA into a revered institution, fortified by the commitment and contributions of the entire sector. This partnership, he notes, will bolster a sense of belonging and ownership among industry stakeholders towards the agency, enabling it to progress confidently into the future.

Hüseyin Kurt points out that those in the tourism sector often possess superior skills in understanding and analyzing global dynamics, thanks to their extensive experience and achievements across various fields, from inbound and outbound tourism to MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) and health tourism. He argues that in an era where knowledge is power, there is much to learn from one another, and activating this 'collective intelligence' is crucial for strengthening the sector.
