According to data compiled by Turizmdatabank from the Treasury, despite a decrease in foreign overnight stays and an increase in domestic stays, the revenue generated by hotels in Türkiye during the January-March 2024 period surpassed $2 billion. Istanbul was the top earner, followed by Antalya.

Where were the highest revenues?

Istanbul led the total revenues with a 41% share, followed by Antalya with a 21% share. Ankara was third with nearly an 8% share. Muğla, İzmir, Bursa, Nevşehir, Aydın, Mersin, and Afyon accounted for between 1% and 3.5% shares, rounding out the top 10.
