According to TÜİK, inflation in February was 4.53 percent compared to the previous month, 11.54 percent compared to December of the previous year, 67.07 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, and 55.91 percent based on twelve-month averages.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the highest price increase was 94.78 percent in restaurants and hotels, followed by 91.84 percent in education, 81.25 percent in health, and 77.98 percent in transportation.

In February, the group with the highest price increase compared to the previous month was education, with a 12.78 percent increase. This was followed by 8.25 percent for food and non-alcoholic beverages, 5.43 percent for hotel and restaurants, and 4.31 percent for communication.

As for the current situation in restaurants and hotels, prices increased by 5.43 percent compared to the previous month, 18.26 percent compared to December of the previous year, 94.78 percent compared to the same month of the previous year, and 85.05 percent based on twelve-month averages.
