The eagerly awaited GlobeMeets B2B Networking Event's date was revealed today at a press conference held at the Sheraton Hotel Levent in Istanbul. GlobeMeets founders Hüseyin Kurt, Serdar Söyler, and Emrah Tırpan attended the press conference, where it was announced that the event would take place on September 12th and 13th at Istanbul's highly anticipated tourism investment, Rixos Tersane Istanbul.

GlobeMeets Chairman of the Board Hüseyin Kurt announced the decision to organize this year's event over two days, in response to demands from the sector. He shared the following about their new goals: “Our event last year, being the first of its kind, filled a significant gap by being effective, collaborative, benefit-oriented, not open to everyone, and achieving the goal of matching the right buyer with the right service provider, thus becoming a first in our industry in this area. The event last year received almost perfect scores from all participants. The very high satisfaction and favoritism motivated us to roll up our sleeves to do even better. This year, we have moved our venue to the center, Rixos Tersane Istanbul, and extended the event to two days.

We want to provide much more benefit to all stakeholders and create more cooperation. This year, we will host 125 Hosted Buyer agencies from 26 cities of Türkiye and 40 Hosted Buyer agencies from 20 countries. In addition, we will also welcome over 700 buyer (purchaser) agencies from Istanbul as visitors. We will bring together potential buyer (Buyer and Hosted Buyer) agencies, whom we will host as visitors and guests, for two days, in appointment-based meetings with DMCs that offer local agency services in 50 different countries, tourism offices from around the world, airlines, marketplace partners, hotels from abroad, insurance and visa service providers, and a limited number of prestigious hotels from within the country. They will have the opportunity to network quickly in a lounge area and bistro area."
