The Eastern Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Fair (EMITT), now in its 27th year, opened its doors on February 6th at the TÜYAP Fair and Convention Center.

The opening of the fair was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, Mayor of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Muhittin Böcek, EMITT Fair Director Hacer Aydın and TÜROFED President Erkan Yağcı, among other executives.

Organized with the corporate sponsorship and partnership of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of Trade, İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality, and Turkish Airlines, EMITT is being held in collaboration with the Turkish Hoteliers Federation (TÜROFED) and the Tourism Investors Association of Türkiye (TTYD).

The fair, which will host more than 595 participants from 95 countries, will cover topics such as "Travel Trends," "Health Tourism," "Responsible Tourism," and "Travel Technologies."
