General Manager of the State Airports Authority (DHMİ), Hüseyin Keskin, has announced details of the summit held at Antalya Airport, where it was planned to double the airport's capacity. The meeting, chaired by Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure İsmail Kurt, saw participation from numerous airline representatives.

According to a report in the Alanya Post, the main topic of the summit was the efficient management of the record-breaking tourism season and the doubling of Antalya Airport's capacity. It was highlighted that the expansion work is crucial for better managing the increasing flight and passenger traffic.

In addition, a declaration was prepared at the meeting, in which all stakeholders agreed on taking concrete steps to address congestion in European airspace and other issues in the sector.
